Disneyland 10/13/13

So today we went to Disneyland.  I was excited because everything was to be decorated for Halloween and this is one of my favorite times of the year (aside from Christmas).  The night before we were at Knott's Scary Farm and had a blast but boy were we tired!  Once again we stayed at the Stanford Inn and Suites and we were able to have breakfast before heading into the mad house!  Once we made it over to Disneyland it was about 11:45 am and the line was about 20 minutes to go through the bag check!

Anniversary Weekend Friday 9/20/13- Disneyland Tour

Today we woke up bright and early to get ready for our tour at Disneyland.  We stayed at the Stanford Inn and Suites (formally known as Comfort Inn MainGate) and were lucky enough to have breakfast included.  For as cheap as the hotel was I was not expecting anything special.  Usually we stay at the Camelot Inn which is located right across the street from the main gate.  The rooms are fairly pricy and the breakfast is usually just toast, cereal, oatmeal, stale donuts and muffins, and fruit.  So as you can imagine we were expecting something similar or worse from our new hotel.  We were thankfully surprised to find that this breakfast was much more filling and versatile than the one we had received at Camelot.  There was sausage, eggs, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, waffles, toast, bagels, donuts, and drinks.

Anniversary Weekend Friday 9/20/13- Pin Trading Event

So I decided to do this post separate from our day at Disneyland.  This was our 2nd pin trading event but our first one with Disneyland (our first was at the Disney Soda Fountain).  We were not sure what to expect going into this event and only brought a few of our pins to trade.  We walked the 2 miles from our hotel to Paradise Pier all dressed up and ready for our dinner after and probably the most "dressed up" people at the event.  My feet were killing me from the long walk over in my heels and the closer we got the more I dreaded walking into those big double doors but Tommy was excited so in turn so was I.  The moment we walked through the doors I was instantly overwhelmed.  There were so many people everywhere I did not know where to start.

Piece Of History: Month of September 9/12/13

So like any collector we made the long drive down to purchase the newest Piece of History pin.  This month it was the Haunted Mansion featuring the grave digger.  Inside the globes are pieces of his scarf. Traffic was surprisingly not as terrible as we thought it would be.  We took the 101 to the 134 to the 5 and did not hit any
traffic until getting onto the 5 but we were so excited about Disneyland the traffic did not phase us:)

DSF Pin Release

Being the Disney fanatics that we are, we of course went to the pin release at Disney Soda Fountain in Hollywood on Saturday morning!  What a crazy morning!  We left at 4 am (very exhausting).  We got there at 6:30 am and lined up with the 50 people that were already there.
